Monroe County High School is pleased to recognize our 2017 Governor’s Scholars.
The Governor’s Scholars Program is a stimulating, five-week, residential summer program for outstanding Kentucky students completing their junior year in high school. Established in 1983, the program provides academic and personal growth through the balance of a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience. Students must complete an application and compete with others from across the state.
Miss Caroline Rushing, daughter of Chris and Jennifer Rushing and Mr. Gavin Geralds, son of Tommy and Glenna Geralds are this year's recipients.
Congratulations to these two outstanding students on their accomplishments.
