Welcome! I currently teach Biology and Chemistry CP at MCHS. I graduated, with honors from Western Kentucky University with a bachelor of science degree (major of biology and minor in chemistry). I took a year off after graduating and worked as a full time substitute at Metcalfe County Middle School in the 2008-2009 school year. In the summer of 2009 I began graduate studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. The doctorate of chiropractic program was three and a half years, year round. Upon graduating with honors in October 2012, my husband and I moved back home. I was in practice full time from January 2012-July 2018. I currently still practice part-time, by appointment only.
I love the chiropractic work that I do and have a desire to help people find optimum health. With that being said, I also loved teaching when I was working as a substitute and could not ignore the draw that I had toward the teaching profession. In May 2018 I was awarded my teaching certificate from the KY EPSB. I am very excited about this new chapter and hope to have an impact on the lives of my students!
