Parents/guardians are welcome to email me for my cell phone number so that I can be reached outside of school. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. I will be more than happy to speak with you and help you with whatever I can.
I graduated from Monroe County High School in 2014. I attended Western Kentucky University for three years and was awarded the Bachelors of Science diploma in December 2017 with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I am currently working towards my Teacher Certification through the University of the Cumberlands with the intention of completing my Masters as well. This will be my first full year at Monroe County High School teaching Biology. I started teaching in January 2018 and have loved every minute of it!
I currently reside in Flippin, KY with my husband, Cody. We were both raised on farms and we are continuing that lifestyle. I will be expecting my first child in October, so students can expect my absence at the end of the first semester while I am on maternity leave. However, I plan to still be very much involved in my classes and will continue to be available if needed.
