Welcome to Joe Harrison Carter Elementary

Welcome to JHC Library where reading activites take place.  We have a book fair in the fall and in the spring.  We have an E-Reader book club, students post information on Wallwisher parking lot to share our reading experiences.   Students participate in a Minecraft Club, they enjoye swapping gaming ideas and connecting with the online games. In the Spring, we will participate in a book swap to generate new reading materials for the summer reading.  We want to invite you to particpate in the "Book Talks" that will start early January.  You should review the Kentucky Bluegrass Nominee Books; we discuss these Kentucky Nominee Books which are conisdered high quality literature.  If we do not have these books in our library visit the William B. Harlan Memorial Library for your copy.   Students at JHC love to discuss the books that they are reading, come join us and share what you are reading on Padlet/Wallwisher.
