WKU
Eligible Monroe County High School seniors have the opportunity to enroll in college courses on the Western Kentucky University Glasgow campus.  Students will enroll in a general education classes at a cost of $200 per course, at a substantial savings. This class would normally cost $945. Classes begin January 24, 2011 and meet one day a week from 12:30 – 3:15 pm.  Grades received in Dual Credit courses are recorded as part of the student’s official college transcript with WKU.  These courses can be transferred to another university if the student does not attend WKU.  For the fall semester, we have 18 seniors taking advantage of this opportunity.
